October

This month has been a busy one!! 

 We enjoyed a wonderful, uplifting weekend of General Conference. Belton loved listening to the music! (that's my boy!)

Papaw gave Belton a Pooh Bear for his birthday. He loves his car buddy!

We had a great Halloween play group this week!

It was a lot of fun to watch these little kids run around together in their costumes.

Dada!!!

Last Friday, when Belton and I got back from our day and night in College Station, Belton finally said "Dada"!!

We were on our way to the Fall Festival at church and Matt sat by Belton in the backseat. Matt asked him if he could say Dada and he DID! Belton has a look of PURE PRIDE and JOY on his sweet little face as he said it over and over again! He finally figured it out!

We enjoyed our ward's fall festival and trunk or treat activity last weekend! Belton was a puppy for Halloween this year!

Halloween is a lot of fun with a little one!

College Station

We went on a quick trip to College Station to go to Julia's baby shower. 

 I love this picture of Belton and Claire on the horse at Lupe's!

 We went to a furniture store so that Julia could get a dresser for the baby. Belton loved playing on this bear!

 And on this baseball glove chair! So cute!!

 He seriously had a blast exploring and cuddling up with this bear!

 I guess he was ready for a nap by the time we left?

Time Out for Women

A few weeks ago, my mom and I went to Time Out for Women. It was an awesome experience! There were lots of wonderful speakers and musicians.

 

 I was a staffer at this event and had so much fun! I mostly helped with the service project, which was putting together backpacks of food for kids who wouldn't get fed at home to have some food over the weekends. Anyway, it was great and fun to be a part of the event and we were lucky to get to reserve seats, too!

 Jenny Oaks Baker is a fabulous violinist. Mom and I loved listening to her music!

Sheri Dew was full of interesting stories!

 Jericho Road was another awesome musical group! 

Sandra Turley was in Les Miserables on Broadway. She sang for us and told us some heart wrenching stories from her life.

I loved being a part of this event and attending it! Maybe you can come with me next year?? :-)

Pumpkin Patch

 Last weekend, we went to a pumpkin patch with Grandma!

Belton wasn't really too sure what to think of everything.

He really liked touching all of the pumpkins!

 Belton was even adventurous to try to pet a couple of goats.

 I love our little family!!
