I turned 22 this week, and had a wonderful day!! Matt did a wonderful job of making the day special for me, and we had a great time!

 

Unfortunately, this is the only picture I took! Wasn't my cake pretty?? :-)

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! 

I am looking forward to Spring Break SO much! In one week I'll be in Dallas with almost all of my family...hooray!! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures so I'll be doing lots of blogging when we get back!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was a day filled with sweet surprises for me! Matt left me little notes all over the house and when I woke up I was surprised everywhere I went! :) 

Then I went and checked the mail! I found Valentine's from my parents, Claire, and Matt's grandparents. :-) I love mail!!

On the way to dinner, Matt gave me a gift! While he was working in the lab at Tech he made me a heart that lights up! I had so much fun switching it on and off! I love this gift, because it is just so MATT!! We had a great Valentine's day! :)

Grandmom's Party

Grandmom's Book

My Grandmom's 85th Birthday was at the end of December and we had a big party for her in January! The night before her party, we presented her with a book of pictures from the decades of her life as well as of her children and grandchildren. I made the book and really enjoyed putting it together for her!!

New Year's Day

New Year's Eve!

The Tovar's go out to eat on New Year's Eve every year. This year we went to Texas Roadhouse. It was such a nice time to relax and enjoy talking with family. We later rang in the new year at G-Mom and G-Dad's house with them and Kelly, Abbi, and Mike. Such fun! 

New Car!

Matt's car had some serious problems on the way to Dallas from Lubbock for Christmas break. It broke down in Abilene. Luckily, he has some great cousins who took him in for the night and I was able to go pick him up the next day! His car was done for, so we had to get a new one during the break! We went to six different dealerships and looked at countless cars online and finally ended up with this one! It's an 06 Nissan Sentra, and we are so grateful that we were able to buy it!
