Belton has truly become a little person this month!! He watches everyone and everything around him as he is figuring out more about the ways of this world! He is still a very happy baby and I get asked all the time if he is always "this good"! We are so lucky!!
Belton is on the go all the time now! He crawls everywhere and walks along anything he can hold on to! His little walker is a HUGE hit right now! He also loves crawling under things whenever he can. For example, Matt made Belton a bridge out of pillows yesterday, and Belton LOVED that!!! It was super cute!
Belton really understands what we are saying a lot of the time. He can also say a few words! Mama, up (always whispered), hi (hhhhhiiiii with a little wave), bye (ba with a little wave), bottle (ba). Matt says that "baba" is dad in Farsi, so basically Belton is saying dada all the time!!

It seems like Belton's growth has stalled for a bit in the gaining weight area, but his teeth just keep on exploding through! He got three new teeth this month. Now he has four across the top and two on the bottom.

We did some sleep training this month, which generally went very well! However, he still has difficulties with naps (especially when we're not at home!). Belton sleeps great all night, from about 9 to 9. He usually takes two or three naps a day, depending on how long they are. Every once in a while, we get lucky and he takes two 1.5 hour naps! Those are the best! :-) But, he often only naps for 45 minutes. We are just grateful that he will nap in his crib now!
He's turning into a little boy with this car as one of his favorite toys!! I have also noticed that he has a growing love for balls, too. But he might not be all "typical boy"...he always seems to find and enjoys playing the piano when we are at houses that have one! :-)
Belton moved up to his big boy car seat this month also. But that doesn't keep him from napping in it all the time!
He just walks across our whole apartment and back anytime we help him get the walker situated!
Belton's favorites this month are: jumping, walking (with his walker or anything like it), bath time, balls, testing his boundaries, water in an adult cup, guacamole, reading, being held and carried, crawling and exploring, being tickled, finding and trying to play with feet and shoes everywhere, crawling under things, playing peek-a-boo, playing "I'm gonna get you!", ride a little horsey, milk, music, going outside and new toys!!
This is one of my most frequent views lately, when Belton crawls over to me, pulls up and tries to get me to hold him. So sweet!!
