Another Fun-Filled Week!

Last weekend, Matt and I went to a banquet with some of his co-workers! The event was kind of boring, but it was fun to dress up!

Belton in a sweet new outfit from Chrystal and Erik.
This was my view on Sunday afternoon. Sleeping Daddy with a cuddly baby and a pile of toys!

Matt's cousin Tate and his wife Jessica have a little girl, Abigail who Belton got to play with this week. Her parents were out of town for Tate to have surgery at MD Anderson, so we went to keep her company.
They gave each other several sweet hugs when we were leaving! (Belton "hugs" by laying his head on you.)
As we walked out the door, Belton and Abigail continued to wave and wave at each other. It was so sweet!
This little boy really enjoys climbing around on Mommy and Daddy's bed lately!
This is his newest thing: to flip over into the fetal position anytime that we want to change his diaper or get him dressed. It's frustrating and amusing all at the same time!! Crazy baby!
We went to the Perot Museum with the Weldy's. Belton had a blast running around and exploring!
And finally, I LOVE walking in the room to this face in the mornings! Some days he puts himself in the far corner of the crib to get away from me. (I guess he just wants to play in there more?) But most days, he jumps around in his crib and shows me his blankets and things before he sweetly asks me to pick him up!
 We love him!

The Cowtown

When Oncor said they would pay for their employees to run in the Cowtown in Fort Worth, Matt quickly jumped on board! He ran the 5k on a chilly Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago. My friend Lydia got a great spot right by the finish line and caught this awesome picture of Matt going under the finish line!
He was the in 22nd place for his age bracket. Not bad, in my opinion, for a guy who "trained" like three times and was sick during the week leading up to the race!

Fun at the Park!

We went to the park one afternoon in College Station. This was our first time to the park since Belton can actually climb and do things. He had a blast!

He started walking down the slide, sat down and eventually ended up head first on his stomach. After a few tries down the slide, he just climbed up and down the stairs! Silly kid!
 He loved the swings though!

More Cousin Fun!

I loved the beautiful sun rays while I was on my drive to College Station!
Dayton and Belton got acquainted. Belton pointed to Dayton a lot and would say "babah" for baby. He was very interested in Dayton!
In fact, I was amazed when I was holding Dayton while he was crying and trying to calm him down. With no prompting from me, Belton went over to the loveseat and picked up one of Dayton's burp cloths and brought it to me. He's a sweet helper!
I'm pretty sure that Belton spent more time inside this wagon than not! Claire is such a nice big cousin and almost always pushed him around whenever he wanted her to!
They got to take some baths together. Fun!
 Sweet smiling Dayton!

Belton climbed up onto the toy chest and onto a kitchen chair for the first time!!

Claire loved coming with me to get Belton up when he woke up in the morning.

Last week, we went to College Station. Claire and Belton had a blast together!
I love their silly head-tilts in this one!

 I love these sweet kiddos!

Last Week

Last week was one of those weeks with lots of sweet and fun moments that I happened to take pictures of!
Bath time for this silly boy!
Sleeping soundly at 10 am after he had been up for an hour in the middle of the night!

These sweet kiddos had lots of fun playing together! Belton loves following them around! :-)
Lydia and I have fun too! I should start taking pictures of the project we work on or things we bake. We always do something interesting.
I put Belton down for a nap at Grandmom and Granddad's house and when I went in there to get him up, he had his hood on his head!
One day, when we walked into my parents house, Belton saw Granddad and immediately wanted to go outside with him! Of course, Granddad was happy to oblige.

 This kid loves his blankets!
Finally, Belton got to drive the car at Kroger for the first time on Valentine's Day!
