Belton: Seven Months

We are so grateful for the love that Belton brings to our home. He loves playing in his jumper. But when Mom or Dad comes through the door and he is in there, he starts jumping up and down with excitement! It is so sweet and so much fun for us! Belton is full of giggles all the time, and it's just the best sound in the world to Mom and Dad! He is still very ticklish and loves to laugh back at us when we laugh at him.
 Seven Month Stats
Weight: 20 pounds, 3 ounces
Length: 27.25 inches
2 teeth
Belton is still an awesome sleeper, thank goodness! I am so grateful for that! Usually when he wakes up in the middle of the night, he has just rolled himself to his tummy and can't seem to figure out how to get onto his back. So he cries until we roll him over. But sometimes I go look at him in the morning and he is sleeping soundly on his tummy. I'm not sure why he likes it some days and hates it others, but that's okay!
Our little baby really isn't so little anymore!  He is getting quite heavy and carrying him in the car seat is pretty much awful at this point! Belton now wears 6-9 month clothes and size three diapers.

He is great at eating his bottles and still has 5 a day usually. He even seems to know when we are making his bottle. We always stand in the same place, and he kinda calms down when he's hungry and we're there. Then he starts giggling/hyperventilating when we shake the bottle in front of him. This boy likes his milk! But, he really isn't into solid foods yet! We keep trying, but he only rarely opens his mouth willingly. He actually did tonight though, when Matt fed him prunes. Interesting choice, huh? :-)
Belton's favorites at this point include: sitting up all the time, standing with help, jumping, sitting and splashing in the bathtub, walking across the room while holding someone's hands, playing with his toys and blocks, chewing his fingers (especially his thumb), looking in the mirror, giggling, being tickled, crossing his legs at the ankles (he does this ALL THE TIME), reading books, being sung to, blowing raspberries, grabbing Mom or Dad's face while eating his bottle, learning how to use his voice and making lots of sounds!

We sure do love our little guy!!!
