Exciting!

I just won a give-away on a blog that I just recently started reading!
http://www.justoneweek.net/

I won this cute notebook! I'm excited!

In the last few weeks, as I have been having difficulties walking, I have DEFINITELY gotten into reading blogs, a lot! I spent several days stuck in bed, with my computer to entertain me! I really enjoy the give-aways! :)

Today has not been very exciting, I have 3 finals this week, and I'm working on packing up my apartment! But, I am loving the thought that next time I unpack this stuff, I will be MARRIED!!

A few people have mentioned that I should write about wedding plans on here, and I'm going to try! I thought I'd start with my Bridesmaids, since they are so easy to write about!

Matron of Honor:
Julia Cooper. She is my wonderful big sister. This is the most recent picture that I have of just us, but she isn't pregnant anymore...6 weeks ago she had a sweet little baby girl, Claire Lois Cooper!! Anyway, Julia and I went on a trip around Europe together last summer, and we had a FABULOUS time! I am so glad that everything worked out and she was able to join me there!! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience, considering she now has so many more responsibilities!

Maid of Honor:
Chrystal Ferguson. We have been best friends since we were 11. Yep, that's right. It's been ten years now! That's absolutely crazy to me! We met on the first day of sixth grade in English class. Our teacher, Mrs. Nelson had everyone in the class do an assignment on the person sitting next to them. For me, that happened to be Chrystal! I remember that she told me that she wanted to go to Harvard and be a Marine Biologist because she loved dolphins. Somewhere along the way that changed, and she is a Marketing major at Texas Tech with me!

Bridesmaids:
Hannah Moore. We met in an institute class during our freshman year here at Tech. Since then, she and I have spent a lot of time together, just talking about everything and nothing! She got engaged about a month after Matt and I did, and I have definitely enjoyed sharing this time with her! She and her fiance, Nathaniel are getting married in June in the Sacramento Temple and I couldn't be happier for her! I am looking forward to navigating my way through married life with her! We are going to be in the same ward next year when we get back from the summer, and we can't wait!

K'Lann Niehues. I met K'Lann in Seville, Spain! Last summer, I spent a month in Sevilla studying abroad, I remember talking to K'Lann when our group was walking together the first night we were there. I thought she was nice and was hoping that we would get to be good friends...little did I know that we would be randomly put together as roommates for the month! We became very close while traveling through Spain and Morocco together! It was definitely meant to be! When we came back to Lubbock this year that friendship just continued to grow!

Rachel Anderson. I met Rachel during my sophomore year of college at church. She's a great girl and I have had many good times with her!! She also recently got engaged and is getting married this summer...the Single's Ward is definitely getting smaller this year! ;)

On that note...here is a picture of 4 of the 5 engaged girls in the Ward while we were at Hannah's Bridal Shower...so funny!

It's Been Too Long...

Yes. It has been quite a long time since I've been on here. I keep on meaning to get back into the habit of blogging, but I have just been so busy! So many things have happened in the last 10 months!!

I have almost completed two more semesters of college. (Just 3 finals left!)
I changed my major from accounting to marketing.
I got engaged! Yay!
I enjoyed some BEAUTIFUL Lubbock snow!! I turned 21...
...and celebrated with my sweet fiance...
...and some wonderful friends!!
I have been to a few of Taylor's T-Ball practices and games!
I went to Marcus' 3rd birthday party...I can NOT believe he is already so old!!And then I added a double major, now I am a marketing & management major.
I have a new niece! (Okay, I didn't have much to do with that, but isn't she cute??)
