Bath Time for Claire-Bear

She's such a sweet, happy girl!
I love it when babies look at their hand and discover that they can move it.
Thumb!
Thumb again! :)
The towels are my favorite!

Craft Time!

A lot of us enjoyed some craft time during our visit in Dallas!

The girls worked on a wreath! Mom and I made our Halloween ones and Julia made her Christmas one. I need to take a picture of the finished product! It was fun and easy!

Matt and Taylor made this bridge....
And Matt made this airplane for Marcus....
I think he likes having little boys to make things for/with!! :)

More Fall Break...

 Yep. They're the cutest!
 She's a very sweet girl!!

My favorite boys playing football...with a little GHS football that I caught at a football game when I was in high school, I love that they still use it!

So Mom really wanted a picture of her 3 grandchildren, and I took 19 shots. But Claire wasn't very excited about looking at us or smiling! And Marcus didn't really enjoy sitting still, and I'm pretty sure Taylor got tired of having Claire in his lap. This is the best one I got. We'll have to try again during the holidays!
Peter came running to the kitchen asking for someone to get a camera. I grabbed Julia's and went to take this picture. Taylor was on the phone with his mom and he had laid out across the stairs. He fit perfectly!!
The first picture flashed, and then he glared and me and luckily I caught that too! He immediately got up and went into the room up there.

5 Questions

The rules of this game are that you answer the questions posed by the person who tags you, and then you leave 5 new questions for people to answer.

1. Name the last think that happened that made you laugh really, really hard?
Hannah's friend Derek. We went to his house tonight and she did his hair and make-up to make him Zoolander for a Halloween party tonight. It was hilarious. :)
2. Favorite baby girl name?
Emma Lee
3. Describe your perfect sandwich. The type of bread, condiments, sauces, toppings, etc.
A tortilla with peanut butter and honey on it, microwaved for 30 seconds. It's delicious! It's Julia's variation on PB & J. Yum!
4. You have 3 days to live. What do you drop everything to do? Who would you see? Where would you go? And of course, what would you eat?
I would go home, and spend every moment with my family. I'd have Julia, Jordan, and Claire come to Dallas too! I'd spend as much time as possible having fun with my husband, parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews. I would eat as much Mexican food as possible!! And lots of homemade chocolate desserts. Oh, and I'd beg my Dad to make chicken fried steak for me! It's the traditional birthday meal in my family and it's definitely a favorite!
5. Favorite documentary film?
I honestly have no idea...I'm sure I've seen some- but I can't think of any!! But, Hannah and I watched How to Train Your Dragon tonight, and it's INCREDIBLE!! Seriously, go rent it from Redbox. You'll love it!

I tag: Julia, Mel, and Hannah! And anyone else who wants to comment with their answers and/or post a Facebook note!

1. If you could live anywhere, where would you live and why?
2. If you couldn't have the job you have now, what would you want to do for work?
3. What is the one blog you look forward to reading each day and why?
4. Who had the biggest influence on you growing up and why?
5. Describe your perfect date!

Flag Football!

Early on Saturday morning we headed out to Taylor's flag football game. It was a chilly morning, and Claire was so adorable. Julia left her in her pajamas since she had to wake her up to go to the game. I just LOVE these pictures of the sleepy girl all bundled up!
Taylor made a good play, and I snapped a picture...
Matt was borrowing one of Claire's extra blankets!

During half time the coach sat the boys down and talked to them about breast cancer. He said that one of his good friends lost his wife to breast cancer and that it affects a lot of people. Then he gave them pink wristbands and told them that he didn't care about the score at the end of the game, he just wanted them to play their best, in honor of those affected by breast cancer. Taylor wears that wrist band constantly now!!

Our Little Ones

Matt and I always talk about "Our Little Ones". It has always bothered me that there wasn't a word for nephews and nieces. Like you can have sons and daughters, but you can also call them children! What is the all-inclusive word for nephews and nieces. Or in our case, nephews and niece. So anyway, we call them our little ones. :)

Last weekend we went to Dallas for a weekend filled with family!! When Matt and I were almost to my parent's house, I said that Claire would probably be asleep when we got there, just preparing myself for "the worst". When we walked in the door we were informed that she had just been put down for a nap! So, I called dibs on getting her up from her nap and feeding her. She just started eating rice cereal a few days before...so it was a lot of fun!!

Taylor and Claire enjoyed getting reacquainted, too! :)

Julia was trying to get Marcus to smile for a picture with Jennifer. He just went crazy instead! Claire REALLY got a kick out of it! She just laughed and laughed and laughed at her big cousin.

He finally calmed down for a sweet picture with his mom, too!!
