Thanksgiving

Belton's First Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving with the Tovar's this year! It was a day filled with food and lots of family!!

Belton got to meet and hang around with lots of family members! He did a great job of letting lots of people hold him! He was a happy boy pretty much all day! Thanks, Belton!

He gave us a few small smiles, but we missed them for the most part!
Great Aunt Shannon and Belton

Now, I just have to say that I LOVE the outfit Belton was wearing on Thanksgiving! It was a shower gift from Grandmom and I just think it makes him look so big and grown up!! Plus it is the first 0-3 month outfit that he wore. It was still a kinda big on our little boy!

Turkey!!
Happy Thanksgiving!!

Centerville 2012

During the weekend before Thanksgiving, the Hervey family meets together at my Uncle Don's place in Centerville, Texas. We have a great time with food, nature walks, games, singing time and just catching up! It's always so great to see cousins and aunts and uncles that we haven't seen in a year!

Claire and Uncle Matt always have fun together!
This year I spent most of my time inside with Belton, so I stole Julia's pictures documenting the day!
Belton finally got to meet Uncle Jordan! Now he's met all of his aunts and uncles! And Jordan took care of Belton so that Matt and I could eat a meal without holding a baby! Thanks Jordan!!
Matt and Jordan at the pond on Uncle Don's property.
He's so cute! :)
Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Jack singing some Christmas hymns with us.
Aunt Joyce and Krish singing!
I really enjoyed our singing time!

Before we left, I was sure to take a family picture in front of these bushes! Four years ago, when Matt and I had just been dating a few months, he came with me to the first reunion in Centerville and we took a picture in front of the same bushes!

Life changes quickly! (and bushes grow fast!) :) 2008

Belton: One Month

Wow, the time is flying by!
And our little guy sure is growing!

One Month Stats
Weight: 7 pounds, 8 ounces, 15th percentile
Length: 21.75 inches, 60th percentile
Head: 14.75 inches, 50th percentile

Right now, Belton's favorite place to sleep is in someone's arms. He especially loves sleeping on Dad's chest! He is a sweet, cuddly baby who loves being sung to. Belton blesses our lives so much, we love taking him for walks in his stroller to get the mail when Dad gets home. He is getting better about his days and his nights, as long as he can sleep with Dad!  I keep trying to remind myself that he won't be this little for very long, so I just need to enjoy every moment, even when I am exhausted!
We love our sweet little one month old!

First Halloween

Belton had a rough day on his first Halloween, but we were still able to get some cute pictures of our little pumpkin!

Aunt Julia made him a super cute mummy costume!
Maybe he'll like dressing up more next year? :)

Belton: 2 Weeks

This little guy just keeps getting bigger! He is alert more often and spends a lot of time awake, especially in the middle of the night! His days and nights are definitely backwards, but we're working on it!

Two Week Stats
Weight: 6 pounds, 9 ounces, 10th percentile
Length: 21.12 inches, 75th percentile
Head: 14 inches, 25th percentile

Texas Tech

We tried to take a Tech family picture, but Belton was mad because we were losing.
Hopefully, we're back on track now and we can try again another day! :)
