Belton: Nine Months

This month has been a big one for our little guy!

The first time he pulled up!
He figured out how to sit up on his own, mastered crawling, started pulling up on the ottoman and couch, and then started cruising along the ottoman. He is working on three top teeth, also! We can see the whites of them and feel the bumps. Today one of them finally popped through so now we can feel the little tooth! I've also noticed that when I'm on the phone and I say "bye" to someone while he is playing in the room, Belton will wave! So cute!

It's getting a little bit more difficult to take decent pictures of him! :)
Belton also got swimmers ear a couple of weeks ago and had a rough time with that. Between his ear and his teeth, he hasn't been a big fan of solid food lately! We keep trying, but we're just grateful that he still gets most of his nutrition from the bottle at this point! We are also working on introducing finger foods and we're hoping that'll help!
Nine Month Stats
Weight: 21 pounds, 13 ounces
Length: 28.75 inches
3 teeth

Belton's sleep hasn't changed much. He had some rough nights when his ear was hurting and because of the teeth he's working on, but overall it's all the same. He's a great sleeper at night, but we have a little bit more difficulty with naps!
He has already started slimming down a little bit since he started crawling! He is growing so fast!!!  He is in mostly 12-18 month clothing and size 4 diapers. Belton is a really happy guy and I have been told several times this month that he is "the perfect blend of Matt and me". We are having a lot of fun watching him grow and seeing his sweet little personality come out. We sure do love him!

Belton's favorites right now are: crawling, pulling up and cruising along furniture, blowing raspberries, crawling to Mom or Dad and touching our feet/legs until we pick him up, walking with help, milk, reading books, listening to music, playing with measuring cups in the kitchen, jumping while we're holding him, being outside, playing with/watching other kids near his age, playing patty-cake, dancing to the theme song of Bones when we watch it while he's playing, bath time, swimming, sitting up in the shopping cart and taking everything in, being tickled, playing peek-a-boo and discovering new toys!
