The Astoria Bridge

The Astoria bridge connects Astoria, Oregon and Washington state. It crosses the Columbia River. It was also my absolute favorite part of the entire trip. I made sure that we crossed this bridge at least once a day, because the views were incredible and the engineering of the bridge was mind-blowing to me!

It's a 4.1 mile bridge, and it is the longest continuous three-span through truss bridge in the world and it rises 205 feet above the river.
